DreamFactor, 2008 dun ApHC filly, Bright Influence x Mai Tai
We call her "Medora", as she has already been through the Medora Badlands. =) Born on April 1st of 2008, after I already April Foolsed everyone....Dusty had her at 8:30am, so I had to recall everyone and try to convince them I was serious this time! WOW!!! I guess the April Fools joke was on me! I'm as proud as can be...

Mai Tai, 1987 chestnut ApHC mare....an own daughter of Matter of Fact x Conugget. "Dusty" is my old show horse. She has taught me alot over the years. Everyone that knows Dusty, loves Dusty. She has quite the reputation. I got Dusty when she was 4 years old and I was a scrawny little 12 year old girl. She was alot of horse back then, but I didn't know any different. She had some reining training early on and so she really excelled in pattern classes, and trail became our forte. I had support from my parents, but I have many people along the way to thank for their advice, leadership, help, support, and friendship. Dusty is a point earner in many different classes....halter, western equitation, huntseat equitation, western pleasure, HUS, and trail. We also placed in the top 10 at the MN State 4-H show in horsemanship and trail every year that we competed there. A few years ago(8 years after our last trip to State), I leased her out to a good friend and they took 1st place in trail at the MN State show!
Dusty will also work cattle, is great on trails, and is trustworthy with little kids climbing all over her and riding her. My niece and nephews rode Dusty in Rhythm & Riding at the County Fair last summer. I was sure proud. At the end of their routine, all 3 kids were on her at the same time, and one by one slid off her butt for the finale. These first couple pictures were taken the summer of 2007 of Dusty as a fit (and pregnant) 20 year old. She even carried a friend on our trip through the hills of the Heart Valley, south of Mandan, ND, moving cattle and through the Badlands of Medora, ND.
On April 1, 2008 Dusty's last foal arrived sired by Bright Influence, an own son of Dreamfinder. I registered "Medora" as Dreamfactor. Bright has 88 halter points, his ROM @ halter, 3rd at World, 4th at Nationals, and is a World Top Ten Producer. Medora is eligible for the RRVISS Futurity.

Performing bridleless at the County Fair in Bagley, MN August 2008.
